Youth Installation Workshop | Shape and Color
SU Art Galleries is pleased to offer a two-day installation workshop for children aged 6 and up that explores shape and color. Teaching artist Christy Cox will guide participants as they explore fun materials such as dowel rods, colorful cellophane and beads to create prismatic installations. Salisbury-based ceramic artists Amused Studios will lead students in designing the clay beads.
The workshop will run in two parts from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday March 23rd and during the same hours on 30th. All activities will take place at the SU Art Galleries | Downtown and culminate in a viewing reception for parents. Tuition includes materials, instruction and lunch for both sessions. SU Art Galleries | Downtown is located at 212 W Main Street, Suite 201.
