Join the Maine Youth Leadership & Development Council on Tuesday, May 21st, at the Augusta Civic Center for a day of learning and networking designed specifically for adults working with young people. Built around the themes of Equity, Partnership, and Thriving, the Symposium aims to strengthen the networks and capacities of afterschool programming staff, educators, summer camp staff, and youth group leaders. The day will include two rounds of 90-minute breakout sessions, in addition to a keynote and networking lunch. If the $15 fee is a barrier to participation, please email myan@opportunityalliance.org for a fee waiver.

Featured plenary sessions will be presented by Maulian Bryant with Wabanaki Alliance, The Telling Room, Center for Youth and Community Leadership in Education (CYCLE), and Sheila Nelson with the Maine CDC Adolescent Suicide Prevention Programs. Opening remarks will be offered by Saige Purser from Wabanaki Public Health & Wellness and the Maine Youth Action Network.
