Frequently asked questions

What should I expect in a typical class?

Expect a hands-on learning class with demonstrations, lots of individual and group hands-on learning and creating, plenty of room for questions, and of course, tasty things to bring home! We’ll also have short breaks in the middle of classes.

What is provided in class?

We provide ingredients and kitchen tools, such as mixing bowls, measuring cups, and spoons, as well as aprons. We’ll also have snacks provided for breaks.

What should I bring and wear to class?

Wear closed-toed, rubber-soled or other non-slip shoes (such as sneakers) and comfortable clothes with sleeves that can be pushed back and won’t get in the way. Bring large containers to take home your creations, as well. Feel free to bring personal snacks and drinks for breaks.

Are there waiver and release forms I need to sign?

Yes! All participants must sign waiver and release forms before attending a class - you can find these on the main website, and they will be emailed in advance. Teens and children under age 18 must have a parent or guardian sign waiver and release forms before beginning classes.

What are your cancellation and refund policies?

Cancellations must be made at least 7 days in advance of the start of a class to receive a refund or credit towards a future class. Otherwise, all class sales are final and non-transferable.

What is the best way to contact you?

Send an email to thecrunchybaker@gmail.com with any other questions you have. You will receive a response within 24 hours, but usually much more quickly.

Should/can I accompany my child at the camp?

The camp is designed for ages 12-17, so we encourage parents/guardians to allow children to learn among their peers (and take the morning off - you deserve it!). There will be at least 1-2 adult instructors present to provide supervision each day. Feel free to reach out with further questions.
