The Workshop
Lisa Hubler and Yumi Iwama are excited to announce their first collaborative workshop, You're Safe Now. This workshop will help you gain insight, understand the science behind relaxation, and heal on deep levels.
In the first half of the workshop, through instruction, a teaching video, journaling and guided meditation, you will understand and experience the Relaxation Response, aka Rest & Digest, Safety & Healing. This is the exact physiological opposite of Fight, Flight, Freeze. This response was coined and studied extensively by Harvard cardiologist and author Dr. Herbert Benson, and we will relate his findings to Restorative Hypnotherapy. In the second half of the workshop, you will lie down in a Restorative Yoga posture as you are guided into the deepest levels of Relaxation Response healing.
Our Story
Lisa and Yumi met 12 years ago when Yumi was a client at Lisa's practice, Mind Matters Restorative Hypnotherapy. Lisa is an eminent hypnotherapist, and originated and cultivated the practice of Restorative Hypnotherapy for over 25 years. After experiencing profound healing with Lisa, Yumi knew she wanted to learn and share the healing with others, and thus began her journey to become a Restorative Hypnotherapist through Lisa's training. After the formation of Yumi's practice, Mind Spa Restorative Hypnotherapy, the pair continued numerous hours of mentor-mentee consultations and lively discussions, forming a bond that organically led to collaborating. You're Safe Now is our inaugural joint project. We will also be making an exciting announcement about our newest venture.
