This Retreat

Oren will teach this retreat in person in Sacramento.

How can contemplative practice be a vehicle not just for personal healing but for collective liberation? How can we reclaim our attention, use our energy more wisely, and contribute meaningfully to the call of our times? Join author and Dharma teacher Oren Jay Sofer for this special daylong session with the Sacramento Buddhist Group, where Oren will offer teachings and practices from his new book, Your Heart Was Made For This: Contemplative Practices to Meet a World in Crisis with Courage, Integrity, and Love.

Registration

We offer this program on a sliding scale of $30 - $150, which includes a donation for the teacher. However, we turn no one away for lack of funds. We have a sliding-scale option for individuals who pay below our registration range.

Note: if you need a full scholarship, contact the coordinator, Angela, at angela.scarlett@gmail.com or for other questions.
