Young Professionals Networking Event 

The Public Interest Law Center uses high-impact legal strategies to advance the civil, social, and economic rights of communities in the Philadelphia region facing discrimination, inequality, and poverty. We use litigation, community education, advocacy, and organizing to secure their access to fundamental resources and services.The Law Center, which opened its doors in 1969 as one of the eight original affiliates of the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, works in employment, environmental justice, healthcare, housing, public education and voting.

Public Interest Law Center

In 2019, the Public Interest Law Center is celebrating 50 years of fighting for justice, and preparing for 50 more. 
We focus on “securing access to fundamental resources and services.” These resources and services are the foundations people need to build their lives: a voice at the ballot box, safe housing, healthy neighborhoods, quality education, and freedom from discrimination. 
On June 13, 2019, join us at Yards Brewing Company to network with other young professionals in Philadelphia and to learn about our work combatting employment discrimination, both for those with criminal histories and those with disabilities. Food and drink will be provided.
