You Are Here & Jeff Ripple: Enduring Light Opening Reception

Join Wild Space Gallery for the opening of two concurrent exhibitions: You Are Here and Jeff Ripple: Enduring Light. The exhibitions offer contrasting artistic views of Florida's natural environment, juxtaposing differing aesthetic styles and practices.

You Are Here takes viewers on a journey across the 18-million-acre connected landscape, from the Everglades to the Alabama/Georgia state lines, through photography, maps and informational panels. Jeff Ripple: Enduring Light presents Florida landscape paintings inspired by the Hudson River Valley School, among other 19th century American artists.

The evening features a Curators Walkthrough with Noel Smith from 5:00-5:30pm followed by Q&A and refreshments.
