About this event

A culturally informed creative workshop on navigating the challenges of adolescence and understanding their key stages of developmentfor parents and carers raising teenagers.

Join us on this journey of discovery, as we unpack the impact relationships have on your unique child’s development.

Many teens struggle with the question – Who Am I? So, how do you work with your child to overcome the struggle for personal identity over role uncertainty?

A secure sense of self and a strong identity are often tied to better mental health for adolescents.

Through presentation and reflective discussion, we will explore some of the significant relationships in your child’s life and how they may be nourished, affirmed, and managed.

Relationships explored will include self, peers, friends, parents, carers, elders, teachers, and representatives of social authority including the police.
