Yes! We will try to accommodate all dietary needs for lunch. There will be snacks available, but we also encourage you to bring your own!

Is there a hotel block for those who will be staying in the area?

This is dependent on the needs of participants. If enough folks will be staying over, we will try to acquire a block for a discount.

What funding can I use to get my youth to this event?

Accepted Answer

This event should be able to meet YEHA, YEHP, and ILP funding requirements.

What are youth going to get out of this?

Accepted Answer

Youth will come out of this day with the ability to use the power they have to make and maintain lasting relationships across the state.

Where at the Winston Safari is this?

If you pull into the safari and park, there will be a community room near the front. Lost? Someone will also be around to help! You do not need a physical ticket to the Safari to be a part of this event.

Is there a hybrid option?

In short - yes. We want this to be a great experience for everyone, and we acknowledge funding and travel issues. The event will be streamed on Zoom, and we encourage you to watch live with your organizational groups remotely and participate amongst your group.

Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to provide funding assistance.

Yourselves and eagerness to be involved and participate! This event is what you make it, so please be ready to share and participate! Jo is a wonderful facilitator and what you share stays within the group and 4 walls.
