Yoga Support for Hypermobility (in-person)


  • When: Once a week on Mondays from 1:15pm-2:15pm, from June 10th - July 22nd, 2024 (no class on July 1)

Description:

Yoga Support for Hypermobility is a 6-week class series designed for those with Hypermobility Syndrome, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and other conditions. This in-person class offering facilitates safe movements within a student's own range so, that the fear and anxiety associated with moving can be eased. Specific intents include slowly building stability and strength, practicing calming breathing, and increasing one’s trust in their own system.

Location:

This in person class will occur at the Osher Center for Integrative Health at Vanderbilt. We are located at 3401 West End Avenue, Suite 380, Nashville TN 37203. Parking is behind the building. We will provide parking validation. The building is owned by Highwoods Properties, and it looks like a corporate office. Should you need assistance in getting to our center, you can call 615-343-1554. Please note that our scheduling line will not be available for evening classes after 5:30pm.


Cancellation policy:

Participants may cancel up to one week before start date without penalty, after that date, there is a 20% cancellation fee. No refund is available after the class start date.

We recommend wearing lose-fitting clothes. Props/mats will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.
