Explore innner peace through restorative yoga, and immerse yourself in the soothing sounds of a soundbath at the St. Mary-on-the-Lake Peace and Spirituality Center. The intention of this silent retreat is to reconnect to your personal wisdom, listen to the whispers of your heart amongst community. Come by yourself or invite a friend! Unwind and recharge on this serene property tucked away just off of the i-90 Bellevue Way Exit.

What is a soundbath?

Soundbath is a meditative experience participants lie down and relax while series of instruments are used to help relax and regulate the nervous system.The vibrations aim to induce deep relaxation.

What is restorative yoga?

Restorative yoga is a calming physical practice involving gentle, prolonged poses that can be supported by props. It aims to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and restore the body's sense of balance.

What items do I need to bring?

Bring a yoga mat! Option to bring a blanket, pillow, cushion, bolster, block to enhance comfort. Wear cozy athleisure wear.

Will food be provided?

No. We ask that you pack a lunch and any other food drink, or utensils, cupware (mug or waterbottle) Lunch will last between 45-60 minutes.

From I-405: Proceed to NE 8th (west) exit – Exit 13B. Turn LEFT on Bellevue Way and proceed south to SE 16th. Turn RIGHT onto SE 16 th at the light, proceeding west up a steep hill. At the second STOP SIGN, turn LEFT onto Killarney Way. Proceed 1/10 mile. Pass three houses on the right. Follow

From Seattle via 520 bridge:

Cross the 520 bridge; take the Bellevue Way exit (RIGHT lane) – turn RIGHT Proceed south past Bellevue Square and cross Main Street. Continue south on Bellevue Way to SE 16th; turn RIGHT at the light, proceeding west up a steep hill. At the second STOP SIGN, turn LEFT onto Killarney Way.

Is there ADA Parking?

Accessible Parking: The path down to the Peace & Spirituality Center includes several flights of stairs. If any guests have mobility limitations, please let us know their name(s) and we will reserve spots from our three ADA parking spaces.

Where can I park?

All guests to park in the Peace & Spirituality Center Lot, which is the first campus entrance as you head south on Killarney Way. Where Not to Park: All parking spots marked "Reserved" or “Guest” are for the use of Sisters and Staff only.The spaces by the dumpster are for use by our groundskeeper.

If I am pregnant can I attend?

If you have had a yoga, meditation, or soundbath practice prior to the event I encourage you to join! Please consult with your doctor, medical support, and inner knowing, to confirm that it is safe for you to attend.

If my hearing is impaired can I still attend?

Although sound therapies have shown to improve tinnitus, "ringing in the ear" please consult with your doctor and medical support team to ensure that it is safe for you to attend this event.

I have had seizures in the past but I am medicated for them, can I still attend?

Although soundbaths can be soothing may provoke a seizures in some individuals. Please consult with your doctor, and medical support team to ensure that it is safe for you to attend. Please confirm and communicate with the event host prior to attending to inform them of your history & care.

Can I bring my pet?

No animals are allowed at the event.

I have a physical disability, can I still attend?

Our venue is designed to be accessible to everyone, and we strive to accommodate any specific needs or requirements you may have. Please let us know in advance if you require any assistance or accommodations, and we'll work to ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable experience!

Are there refunds?

I ask that you check in with yourSelf: "Do I feel intuitively guided to...? Does this feel good in my body to...?" before purchasing a ticket. We will consider refunds on a case by case basis.

Where do I go when I get to the center?

We will be in the Gardenview & Dining Rooms: The Gardenview Room is set up in a semicircle using a combination of plush furniture and comfortable chairs. We ask that you do not bring food or uncovered beverages into this room.

Anything else?
