Yoga Rocks: The 80's with Pride

The Yoga Rocks Series continues with Classic 80's with Pride. Stick around after class for your first drink included with your ticket and dance to more 80's classics as your yoga teacher becomes your DJ!

Join Yoga with Chuck for this unconventional yoga class that combines, movement, humor and story telling as you go back to all the Classic 80's music and with this being in June, it will have a Pride Twist. Artists you may hear : Madonna, George Michael, Culture Club, Bon Jovi, Whitney Houston etc.

After class, your ticket includes a beer, seltzer or non-alcholic beverage of your choice from the bar. The dance floor will be open with your favorite 80's,dance floor and pride classics playing. If you love going out dancing but want to be in bed early and not have to drive into Boston- the After Party is for you! While all yoga with chuck events are safe spaces for the LGBTQ community, with this being PRIDE MONTH - Taffeta and I want to make it especially welcoming to the community and our allies for this event. ALL ARE WELCOME!

This is a pop-up yoga session in a music venue. Please bring your own yoga matt and any props that might support your practice. The yoga practice is taught in a way that is very welcoming to beginners and those who may be first time. However as with any physical activity, please consult with your doctor if you have conditions that may be related to such activities. There are restrooms if you would like to change after class for the After Party. Western Avenue usually has food trucks present on Friday night if you would like to arrive early or perhaps pre-order a meal before class. Taffetta has tables you can eat at.
