September and October: Sunset Yoga 6pm -7:30PM

Thanksgiving/Christhmas/New Years' and Major Holidays: Please text inquiring if I will be in town before registering.

2. Complimentary/No Cost. Donations are Welcome ( before, during, after class) Via cash, or cash App , Zelle using my phone #. Kindly reminder, Absolutely no refunds, NO exceptions.

PLEASE READ!!! Friendly reminder to text me after you sign up for the class. State your name, and to confirm there will be class" 1 hour prior to class start "the morning /evening of class that Saturda or Sunday . I need at least 2 people confirmed for the class to happen. Or if weather permitting.

Yoga & Big Sur Adventure Hike- A group of us, meet after yoga, and refueling our bodies. at 2Pm for a hike in the Big Sur area. Morning yoga, grab breakfast, and gear up for an evening hike. Inquire for more info, if you plan to join the adventure hike.

4. Free Parking By Beach: Enter ASilomar Beach Conference grounds Parking on GPS , and head towards Conference grounds Beach Entrance by Phoebe Cafe.

5. Direct Donations welcome on day of class via phone app pay. Please make sure to still text to confim attendance.

6. 1+ Attendee in a single transaction: For reservation involving more than one attendee on a single transaction, consider making a payment based on each attendee headcount, and text me with number of attendees. Example select Donation ticket type X1 and make $15payment, followed by Texting me I just reserved for 2, 3 people etc...


ABOUT INSTRUCTOR

Sara has been practicing yoga since 2000. She has taken classes with the best yoga instructors through her international travels: from Madrid, London, Miami Beach, to Cruise Ships instructors.

Sara works for a local hospital as a Nurse Practitioner, she is passionate about helping others and volunteer work. Obtained her 200 hour Yoga Certif. Teacher. I believe in a holistic approach to health: Body, mind and soul. I find balance with daily challenges through my yoga practice. Yoga should be available to everyone. Young and not so young. Beginner and advanced students All welcome.

1. YOGA STYLE

The foundations of my yoga classes are heavily influenced from what I’ve been exposed to, which is mainly a combination of Ashtanga, Vinyasa combined with Yin, Hatha yoga. Be prepared to stimulate your bdy and maybe break out a sweat!

November- to- August starts @ 9AM-10:30Am

September and October: Sunset Yoga 6PM -7:30PM

Class length: 60-75 mins approximately with meditation.Please allow 5 mins prior for quick introductions. Attendees can leave early at their discretion.

4. Asilomar Beach: Asilomar Ave, Pacific Grove, CA 93950. By the Asilomar Conference grounds crosswalk entrance, away from Spanish Bay. Where the Surfers gather. Park by Beach pull ~ road side.

- Sunsets classes held in September and October 6PM-to- 7:30PMsunset.

- Yoga & Hike- A group of us, meet at 2Pm for a hike in the BIg sur area. Morning yoga, breakfast, and gear up for an evening hike. Inquire for more info, if you plan to join.

5. Must Text to notify that you made a reservation/ Once you make a Reservation +1 (786) 444-0626 . Class Maybe cancelled if it is raining and or low attendees, or class may be held at 5PM instead.

7. TIPS to optimize your Yoga Class Experience: Bring a yoga mat, blanket, towel, dress in layers as it can get cold by the ocean and during meditation segments.

- Do not eat at least 2- to- 4 hours prior to class. Make time for you and stick to it:)

Practice makes progress.

- Notify me of any past/recent healed injuries: Modifications offered during class.

- Please Note this class is not recommended, for the inpatient student, or someone that has never done yoga before.

- Get clearance from your Medical Provider if any recent acute injuries, illness, or surgery before attending class.

- Safety Reminder: Always, Always consult with a medical professional or physician before participating in any exercise program. Always practice mindfully with caution and listen to your body. If you feel discomfort, pain, or lightheadedness, come out of the pose or exercise Immediately.

8. FQA:

- Do I need to have done yoga before and be super flexible to attend? No, show up as you are, with an attitude of beginner's mind reagrdless of your previous yoga experience, and be patient, and willing to put in the work.

- Is yoga only for the young? No, 15.8 million Americans who practice yoga regularly 3-5 times per week, are 55 or older. ( Yoga's Journal Magazine, 2005)

- Children must be 12 years or older and accompanied by parent or guardian to attend.

9. Key Terms Definitions

Ashtanga Yoga : Ashtanga Yoga classes are usually high energy, linking every single movement in the class with breath and physically challenging

Vinyasa Yoga: often referred to as "Vinyasa Flow", focuses on the transition between poses.Due to its faster class pace, many people are drawn to Vinyasa classes for its fitness applications.

Yin Yoga: provides a slower and more meditative style of yoga. In Yin, different poses are held for longer periods of time for a deeper stretch.

Hatha Yoga: combines the use of deep breathing and different postures to achieve a meditative Restorative state.

Yoga for Seniors: Focus in steadiness and ease of exploring asanas to aid in ( arthritis, osteoporosis, heart disease, and difficulty with balancing) over attainment of poses for performance in breathing practices.

To make the class productive to all : beginners, intermediate students are encouraged to use props, blocks, blankets, and modification poses. While advanced students can continue to push themselves.
