Please Join Shanna Behrje in the historic barn for this monthly community offering. Yoga Nidra will be offered for free or by donation on the first Wedneday of the month.

Yoga Nidra is defined as “yogic sleep” and can be done at any time of day and by anyone. This is a guided meditation practice done in a resting position. It is said that one session of yoga nidra (approximately 40 minutes) is the equivalent of 3 hours of sleep!

During a yoga nidra session the goal is to encourage a relaxation response in the body. Allowing our body and mind to rest restores the relaxation response; deepening the breath, relaxing muscle tension and easing our response to stressors in our life.

Some sessions may start with gentle movement suitable for all.
