Join Stargazer Yoga Co. for a yoga class in the park! All classes are weather permitting.

Please make sure to:

Bring your own mat (or beach towel) and any props that you prefer (blocks, straps, etc).
Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
Wear sunscreen and/or bug spray to your preference level.
Dress for an outdoor practice. Layers can help here!
Fill out the waiver here. We will have a few copies on hand the day of.

What is a community class?

Community yoga classes are often put on by studios as a benefit for the community for those who can't or don't want to carry a membership at a studio. These are great ways to get moving for no cost and maybe meet a neighbor or two!

What happens if the weather isn't great?

In the event of inclement weather, you should receive a cancellation notice no later than 1 hour before the start of the event. Reasons we may cancel include rain, soggy or flooded park grounds, and cold snaps (often at the start and end of the season).

Where do I park?

Brown Park is in a residential area of Lemont. Feel free to park along the street. Just be a good neighbor and don't block driveways, etc.

Sam is a 200HR RYT with training in vinyasa and Hatha styles. Sam primarily teaches private, 1:1 session to local yogis and seeks to serve her community with free park yoga classes as she is able.
