About this event

  • 2 hours

To all the farmers, gardeners, arborists, landscapers, and anyone else using their bodies outdoors and indoors, this yoga class is for you! You will be introduced to, and practice, ways to strengthen, stretch, and relax your muscles and find relief for the soreness and aches that come with this type of work.

Learn how to reduce injury and stress on the body from repetitive motion, heavy lifting, and lots of bending, hand grips, with a special focus on postures, alignment, and maintaining physical activity over the long term.

Wear comfortable clothing and bring your yoga mat (or two folded towels), two yoga blocks (if you have them), and yoga belt (or scarf, robe tie, etc.).

Consider signing up for all three upcoming sessions:

Focus on strength and flexibility, core and balance, feet and hands, with a special focus on form and fluidity in yoga poses and daily moves.
