Join us for a Sunday morning Yoga session with Sarah Franklin followed by a nutritious brunch.

Your TeacherSarah has been teaching Iyengar yoga classes since 2016 in and around Manchester and thinks it’s the best job in the world! When not on her mat, Sarah is a photographer and enthusiastic Urban Sketcher. The YogaIyengar yoga is a stimulating form of practice with a focus on alignment and precision. Sarah will demonstrate and explain each pose, and then you will copy and may be adjusted verbally and/or physically. The selected postures will enliven the whole body, toning muscles, improving posture, bringing focus and invigoration through a range of poses - standing, balancing, seated, forward and backwards bending, twists and you even get to lie down with some restorative poses. Props are used in Iyengar yoga to adapt poses so that they are accessible to everyone. Please don’t worry if you can’t ‘touch your toes’ or are stiff!The ClassThe class lasts for 90 minutes and will start with some gentle ‘limbering in’ poses before some standing poses and a varied selection of postures to give you a rounded experience, ending with some relaxation. The session will be suitable for all, whatever your experience and you will be asked to fill in a registration/health form in advance of the class so that Sarah knows about any health issues/injuries. You will certainly be ready for your delicious brunch when you are finished!The BrunchAfter the 90-minute class, you can retire your mat and relax. A healthy, nutritious brunch will be served up and you can unwind and get to know your new Yogi buddies.
