Join the Atrocious Poets and yoga instructor/author Kelly Jensen as we explore the concept of connection via poetry and yoga—and, yes, invisible fish. (You’ve got to come to the event to find out how they factor in.) Through a yin yoga session interspersed with short writing exercises, we’ll investigate the ways that poetry and language affect the body and our community. (And vice versa.)
No previous writing or yoga experience is required. All are welcome to attend. The Yoga Lounge has mats and props available for you to use, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. Please bring something to write with and something to write on.
The Yoga Lounge is located on the second floor at 114 1/2, N Benton Street in Woodstock. There are 27 steps to navigate in order to reach the studio. Unfortunately, there is no elevator access.
