Take part in a soulful wellbeing session, integrating yoga with Indian classical music.

This experience will be brought to you by Parmjit Sagoo, Harkiran Sahota and Akash Parekar.

Join us for a gentle and inclusive yoga session, accompanied by live sitar and tabla. This unique integration of rhythm, melody, movement and stillness will help the mind and body to feel calmer, grounded and centred.

Parmjit is an experienced Yoga Practitioner, Creative Producer and Director. She has worked across a range of community, health and arts settings, and is passionate about making yoga an inclusive and welcoming experience. Her yoga practice often combines yoga, live music and poetry to create unique and creative wellbeing projects.

Harkiran Singh Sahota has trained under world renowned tabla musician Pandit Sanju Sahai, establishing himself as one of the most talented percussionists in the UK.

Akash Parekar is a student of renowned sitarists Ustad Dharambir Singh MBE and Roopa Panesar. A leading musician in the next generation of British Indian classical musicians, he has performed his music across most major venues in the country including the Southbank Centre and Royal Albert Hall.

Please bring water, a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing you can move in. If you don’t have a yoga mat we can provide one. No entry to the session ten miniutes after strat-time.
