YMU Masterclasses: Arturo O'Farrill
Young Musicians Unite is happy to welcome composer, bandleader, and pianist Arturo O'Farrill. This masterclass will be a comprehensive and immersive educational experience, allowing musicians to learn about music from an experienced musician with the ability to command a big band as a composer, arranger, and leader. He has worked with artists such as the Afro-Latin Jazz Ensemble, and Cornel West. O'Farrill's influences stem from Cuban, jazz, and classical influences, making this masterclass an enriching experience taught by an eight-time winning Grammy artist.
YMU Masterclasses are free and open for music enthusiasts of all ages. These events will be held year-round with hosts such as Richard Bona, Snarky Puppy, Derek Garcia, and more!
