Get Ready for the YM Concerto Final!

We are writing to warmly invite you to the inaugural NLCS(Singapore) Young Musicians Gala Concert, taking place on Sunday, 7th June 2026.

This year marks the first edition of the NLCS(Singapore) Young Musicians competition, an initiative designed not only to celebrate the exceptional musical talent within our own school, but also to champion and support young musicians across Singapore and the wider Asian region. The standard throughout the competition has been outstanding, reflecting both the depth of emerging talent and the commitment to musical excellence that we are proud to foster.

The Concerto Final will take place on Sunday, 7th June at 5:30 pm where Mira Chin, Toby Tan, Luther Ong, and Kaden Khew will perform a selection of concerto movements accompanied by a live professional symphony orchestra, conducted by Fan Ting. This promises to be a truly special occasion, showcasing these outstanding finalists in a full concert setting.

The finals will be adjudicated by an esteemed panel including conductor Joshua Tan, concert pianist George Harliono, and concert violinist Zhi Jong Wang. George Harliono and Zhi Jong Wang will also be in residence across the weekend, offering masterclasses and mentoring to participants, and will be giving a special performances as part of the event.
