Experience the deeply rejuvenating practice of Yin Yoga, held every Tuesday from 7:30 PM to 8:45 PM at Bloom Yoga in San Leandro, California.
Yin Yoga is a gentle, grounding practice that targets the connective tissues (fascia, muscles, tendons, bones, joints, ligaments) through long-held, passive poses. This promotes flexibility, mobility, and a sense of deep relaxation.
In this class lead by Susie Smith, you'll be guided through a series of floor-based poses held for 3-5 minutes each, allowing your body to gently open and release tension. We may also incorporate guided meditation and soft flowing movements to integrate the energetic benefits of the practice.
Yin Yoga is suitable for all levels, including beginners and those who are pregnant. It's a wonderful way to unwind at the end of the day, improve flexibility, and cultivate a deeper connection to your body and mind.
