The Boulder Building Blocks Fund is proud to launch Shared Paths Boulder.  We are a 501(c)3 corporation that has supported community building initiatives in Boulder for 20 years!  Our Board comes from neighborhood groups and alternative modes initiatives and is committed to keeping Boulder friendly, fun and engaged.Shared Path Boulder was launched in 2016.  So far, we have trained and placed over 30 Stewards on the paths to support cleanliness and friendliness and provide added eyes and wayfinding for families and folk on the paths. We also set up path cleaning parties and community pop-up events to provide great destinations for people who want to get out and be a part of community on paths.We are asking for your support so that we can build online infrastructure and hire some local networkering talent to help us support volunteers and provide a professional front with community groups and local business in developing our program.Come to the event and learn more!

Please join us for the first North American YIMBY (Yes In My Back Yard!) gathering!  It'll be a great opportunity to network with other YIMBYs working on housing and sustainable urbanism, hailing from all across the US and Canada. Better Boulder is inviting activists, professionals, and academics to participate in a series of workshops, discussions and keynotes, focusing on peer to peer learning, and building a common understanding of housing affordability and sustainable urbanism issues facing desirable metropolitan areas.

Thanks to a generous, community-minded donor, we are able to offer a significant number of need-based travel and accommodation scholarships to YIMBY 2016 attendees.  We will also be waiving the event registration fee for scholarship recipients.  We want community activists and others to be able to attend the event regardless of their economic circumstances.  If you are interested in receiving scholarship support to attend the event, please fill out <A TITLE="YIMBY 2016 Scholarship Application" TARGET="_blank" HREF="http://goo.gl/forms/PpWZ6FlJAd" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">this application</A>.  The Scholarship application deadline has been extended. Applications will be accepted and reviewed until our scholarship funds are exhaused. As of May 11th, roughly 15 scholarships remained available.
