The Brothers Koren & The Kin are playing a duo show to share songs from their forthcoming album, ‘Long Way Home,’ this Summer.

The Brothers Koren

The Brothers Koren, Isaac and Thorald, are not just artists; they are visionary leaders committed to unlocking the profound potential of music, song, and voice, crafting transformative experiences that cultivate connection, harmony, and inspiration. The essence of their work is human expression in safe, voice-positive spaces. Having released, ‘I Went To The Sea To Be Free’ in 2021, they are preparing for their forthcoming live album, 'Long Way Home'.

After recently winning a Webby Award for 2024, for their longform documentary on the transformative power music, the Brothers Koren & The Kin, will be recording their forthcoming live Album on May 18th. This summer, they are to co-host and perform a select number of private events, as a soft launch of Your Big Voice Foundation.

With the anticipated release of their forthcoming album, ‘Long Way Home”, the brothers have formed a new band, with the likes of Erin “Syd” Sydney on drums, Brendan Willing James on Bass, Chris Sholar on guitar, and a choir of voices, many of whom have done their signature transformational program ‘The Songwriter’s Journey'. The brothers have written a trove of new songs, many of which hearken back to their original band, The Kin, while integrating within this new context, almost a decade later.

The Your Big Voice Foundation

The Your Big Voice Foundation is a nonprofit organization that strives to create opportunities for people of all ages and economic means to unlock their human potential through voice positive self-expression. The foundation's emphasis is on marginalized voices - low-income youth and mothers, incarcerated individuals, oppressed minorities, and survivors of trauma. The Your Big Voice Foundation meets community partners where they are, providing tailor-made inclusive opportunities for musical self-discovery and healing from trauma.

The Brothers' Journey

Hailing from Australia, the Brothers Koren embarked on an odyssey, drawn by their fiercely independent mother's quest to reclaim her voice—a voice that once echoed on the stages of the original cast of 'HAIR'.

Landing in NYC in 2001, they began their 15 year long musical journey as The Kin; from the hush of empty dive bars to the roaring applause of millions, culminating in a coveted gold record. Their talent took them around the globe, sharing stages with the likes of Coldplay, P!NK, Bon Jovi, and Rod Stewart. However, amidst the glittering success lay a void—a yearning for authenticity and a sense of unfulfillment.

Isaac & Thorald's mission has now grown to include all voices, and use music song and voice as a medium of transformation.

Join the brothers for their debut concert and official launch of their Your Big Voice Foundation. All profits go to serving undervalued voices.
