Yak Attack

on, to bYak Attack is a live electronica power trio from Portland, OR. Best described as “organic electronica,” Yak Attack uses razor sharp chops, live loops and well-crafted songs, combined with raw improvisatiuild high-energy and uplifting dance music from scratch.

The group draws upon influences from a wide spectrum of electronica, such as house, drum ‘n bass and breakbeat, along with elements of funk, jazz and jam. The result is a live show that is musically sophisticated but widely accessible. Ranging from intimate crowds at the Crazy Horse to large festival audiences around the country, Yak Attack never fails to work its sonic sorcery.
