A BOUT THE ARTISTS 🖌️

Stef Hutka is a neuroscience-PhD-turned-design-researcher, specializing in emerging technologies. She has led research for numerous 0-to-1 product launches in spatial computing, including Adobe Aero, Adobe Substance 3D Suite, and Meta Quest 3. Stef recently founded her own practice, Sendfull, providing fractional design research leadership to product teams building at the frontier of spatial computing and AI. Stef’s research interests include human-computer interaction, embodiment, and the future of human cognition. These interests are influenced by Stef’s background as a musician. She holds a Violin Performance diploma from the Royal Conservatory of Music, and enjoys experimenting with electronic music composition.

gizeh muñiz vengel is dedicated to the study of being -a body-, through movement and stillness. Her choreographic work responds to processes of grief and joy, with an arduous commitment to transformation and presence. They recreate body stories through touch, relationship and movement that explore new paradigms of temporality, relationality and intimacy. Through her work, she creates spaces that allow them to play and divest from concepts of linearity in a creative process, with the intention of practicing freedom in proximity and relationship with others. gizeh is currently an artist in residency at Counterpulse and in The Community Engagement Residency with Bridge Live Arts, and the 2023-2024 RAW Fellowship recipient. gizeh is curator and producer of KH FRESH Festival, Performance Primers and Gatherings class series in the Bay Area, California.
