About Punspace:Opened in March 2013, Punspace was one of the first coworking spaces in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Founded by a couple of programmers, Punspace Nimman, the original branch, has a capacity of 30 seats. Two years later, the 2nd branch, Punspace Tha Phae Gate, was opened with 3 times the capacity of Punspace Nimman, a coffee shop, and a Makerspace next door. Today, Punspace has become well known among startup entrepreneurs, online marketers, mobile/web developers, hardcore programmers, graphic/media designers, podcasters, bloggers, photographers, filmmakers, and writers.Punspace’s goals are to create the best working environment/community for startups and remote workers. We want to make Chiang Mai the best destination not only for bootstrapping a business, but also living and raising a family.

<P>Y Combinator created a new model for funding early stage startups. The startups move to Silicon Valley for 3 months, during which Y Combinator works intensively with them to get the company into the best possible shape and refine their pitch to investors. Each cycle culminates in Demo Day, when the startups present their companies to a carefully selected, invite-only audience.
