American Romanticism: 3-Day Poetry Workshop Session Length: 90-120 Minutes
Each Program Focus: American Romanticism through discussion, analysis, and creative writing Program Overview Across the three sessions, students progress from understanding Romanticism as a literary movement to actively creating Romantic poetry of their own.
Day 1: Discover ● Challenge assumptions about romance. ● Learn the foundations of Romanticism. ● Explore Romantic themes through found poetry.
Day 2: Practice ● Study poetic forms. ● Write personal Romantic poems. ● Collaborate to create shared works.
Day 3: Create and Share ● Develop original poetry. ● Participate in peer collaboration and feedback. ● Publish a collective anthology of student work.
