Novellas are a form all their own, often combining the best elements of both novels and short stories - but the medium offers fresh challenges too.

In this afternoon session we'll be exploring the fundamentals of novella writing, including pacing, characterisation, description and much more.

Alex Davis is an established organiser of horror, fantasy and science-fiction events. He established and co-ordinates the popular Edge-Lit and Sledge-Lit events in Derby, with Edge-Lit now entering its eighth year.
