While writing her debut novel Filthy Sugar (Inanna Publications, published Spring 2020), Heather Babcock was working long and irregular shifts at her day job. With her understanding of how difficult it can be to make the time to write when you are exhausted and/or have other commitments.

Heather shares tips and advice that she discovered along the journey of writing her novel, emphasizing how important the Toronto Public Library was to her in providing invaluable research and writing tools.
