We are living in a fractured, divisive and surreal world and it is exhausting. Write from your sky, not AI and you will experience your mind, spirit, and creativity is in the ink.
ABOUT DAVYNE VERSTANDIG:
For the past 25 years, Davyne Verstandig has served as Professor Emerita of English andCreative Writing at UCONN and as Director of the Litchfield County Writers Project. A dedicated writing consultant, she leads workshops that support and inspire writersat every level. She is also Poet Laureate Emerita of Washington, Connecticut, a Justiceof the Peace, and a board member of The Arthur Miller Writing Studio.
Davyne is therecipient of the Community Service Award from the Connecticut Department of HigherEducation for Commitment to Service and Leadership, and she was named one of the50 Most Influential People in Litchfield County by Litchfield Magazine. She previously served as Vice President of the ACLU of Litchfield County, Connecticut.
Her poetry can be found in Waking Up to the Earth, Connecticut Poets in a Time of Global Climate Crisis, Sex and Sexuality in a Feminist World, Pieces of the Whole, Provisions and a quiet journey. She can be found at davyneverstandig.com.
