Description
Writefest is a week-long writers' festival taking place May 27 - June 2, 2018 in Houston, TX. It is hosted by Writespace, Houston's grassroots nonprofit literary arts center, and co-partnered by the Rice Glasscock School of Continuing Studies and Texas Monthly. The festival kicks off with a series of Monday-Thursday workshops and culminates in a weekend filled with panels and presentations by writers, literary agents, acquisition editors, and literary journal editors of all genres; a literary journal and book fair; and readings by local and nationally-recognized authors. Click here for a current list of Writefest presenters!
We are offering a wide variety of ticket options, including full-week, weekend-only, and one-day passes.
All tickets come with the option of purchasing a pitch session with one of our attending agents and editors for $50. Upon purchasing a ticket, you will receive an email with instructions for purchasing pitch sessions.
