Discover the power of writing for you in nurturing and inclusive space. Open to all - whether you journal regularly or haven’t picked up a pen for years.This course is designed to help you relax, reboot and develop a self-compassionate voice, meaning you feel supported even when life is challenging. A series of guided exercises will help you in quieten the inner critic, avoid overwhelm and taking steps towards where you truly want to be. Each week we will work through a theme, accompanied by a workbook with optional daily writing prompts. Topics include:- Barriers to self-compassion and how to overcome them- Developing a supportive and encouraging inner voice- Transmuting difficult emotions - Forgiveness- Celebrating the things that are going right- Intention setting around how we want our lives to look and feelWe&#x27;ll meet each Tuesday (ending 11th May) from 7.30-9pm and write to a relaxed and uplifting playlist. This is writing for you and nothing you write needs to be shared. About your Host Joanne Bell is a teacher, writer and poet passionate about using therapeutic writing as a tool for connection, compassion and support. As well as facilitating workshops she writes a <a href="https://writetothrive.substack.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">weekly letter</a> containing free writing prompts and shares content on <a href="https://www.instagram.com/writeandthrive/?hl=en" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Instagram</a>.
