Hello to our fellow filmmakers, writers, actors, and artists!
Join us for a collection of short scripts, plays and other written works performed live by a talented cast of actors, followed by structured workshopping.
HOW IT WORKS:
- Submit a piece of short form writing so we can see if it fits in this month’s curation.
- If selected, we will cast actors to perform it (with exceptions, i.e., self-performed poetry).
- Show up with your friends to watch it performed and get feedback from the audience and workshop!
WRITE CLUB is a resource to learn about writing through conversation and face to face connection. Our goal is to create a community of emerging artists by gathering monthly to receive feedback, ask questions and strengthen their craft.
We ask that feedback is constructive and respectful. We completely understand that sharing writing is personal and nerve-wracking.
The performances and feedback will run until around 10:30PM and then be followed by a happy hour from 10:30PM-11:30PM where you'll have the opprotunity to meet and network with fellow artists and writers! So stick around and grow your community with us!
