Write B4 The Mic: Connect. Converse. Create. Collaborate. A space for poets, lyricists & creative souls to ignite their voice.
Write B4 The Mic — 27th of March 2026.
Celebrating Women Everywhere.
Hosted by Starlight
Honouring Our 4 Pillars: Connect. Converse. Create. Collaborate.
Theme for March:
'Womanhood' -Medical Myths & Mayhem
Our March edition is a thought provoking invitation to a conversation around what women face in terms of visible and non-visible medical conditions , how they have experienced their health, the lack of understanding , the care they received and how they cope in everyday life.
What to Expect:
Expect Warmth, depth in dialogue, soul -stirring honesty and moments of laughter, with reflection that stay with you long after the night ends.
We invite poets, lyricists, storytellers, creatives, and the audience that holds them — to hold space in learning about some of the Challenges women face and overcome, encouraging open conversations and better relationships with those we hold dear.
🌿 Write B4 The Mic Workshop:
6:30 PM – 8.45 PM
Co - Host : RVJ
Celebrating Womenhood, Starlight is collaborating with WB4TM's Creative Catalysts and Guest speakers, to openly share their truth around their health and medical care experience as women , sharing their vulnerablities through poetry to create awareness and understanding for women and men.
A shorter guided session will follow, blending reflective exercises, powerful prompts, and your takeaway from the meaningful conversation. This will hopefully help your creative writing to express your connection to self and women around you.
No pressure. No perfection. Just presence.
🎤 Open Mic:
9:00 PM – 10:30 PM
This is where voices rise.
Whether it’s your first time on stage or your hundredth, the mic is open — and the room is listening.
