This 5-hour hands-on workshop is designed for entrepreneurs looking to build a strong business plan. In this session, you will work on your own business plan using simple templates and free tools. Learn how to estimate start-up costs, analyze your market, and evaluate your competition. With a working lunch break and group discussions to help break up the day, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and overcome common challenges. This workshop is eligible for the City of Austin Business Skills Certificate Program.

Participants will also get a free toolkit – a collection of templates, forms, worksheets, software and other helpful resources to help make good use of the information shared in class.

This class is best for live, in-person particiaption at the city's Small Business Training Room for networking and interaction with the instructor and others in the class. We have included the option for a Virtual Accommodation for those unable to attend in person.

Earn A Business Skills Certificate
This workshop is eligible for the City of Austin Business Skills Certificate program. Participants who complete six eligible courses in the program are recognized in a public awards ceremony with other local business and community leaders.
