Wrap to Rap 2019

As the nonprofit partner to the Administration for Children's Services, New Yorkers For Children protects, ensures, and promotes the safety and well-being of NYC's children and families, with an emphasis on youth in foster care.Our goal is to reach all youth in foster care across New York City and provide them with the resources they need to thrive. NYFC provides college scholarships, tutoring, advisement, job training programs, and other essential services to more than 1,000 youth each year. Since 1996, we have distributed over $58 million dollars to youth in foster care.

<h1>This Giving Tuesday, join <a href="https://www.newyorkersforchildren.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">New Yorkers For Children</a> for its 16th Annual Wrap to Rap event, generously hosted by First Republic Bank!</h1><h1></h1><h3><em>Give back to the community and jump start the holiday season by donating and wrapping gifts for youth in NYC foster care. There will be music, food, merriment, and more! </em></h3><h3></h3><h3>Agenda:</h3><h3>4pm - Financial Literacy Workshop</h3><p>There will be a Financial Literacy Workshop led by First Republic Bank employees for youth in NYC foster care ages 18-26. Go into the holiday season prepared by learning about budgeting, how to open a line of credit, how to navigate student loans, and more! </p><h3>5:15pm - Gift Wrapping</h3><p>Spread holiday cheer by joining NYFC Board and staff, First Republic Bank employees, and youth in NYC foster care to wrap gifts so that NYC's children in foster care! </p><h3>6:00 - 7:00pm - Dinner </h3><p>Enjoy dinner, generously provided by First Republic Bank, and mingling! </p><h3></h3><h3>There are three ticket type options:</h3><p>1. Gift Wrapping - choose if you will ONLY be attending the gift wrapping portion</p><p>2. Financial Literacy - choose if you will ONLY be attending the Financial Literacy Portion (either as a volunteer or as a youth)</p><p>3. Gift Wrapping &amp; Financial Literacy - choose if you will be attending BOTH (either as volunteer or youth)</p><p>*** If you are an agency worker registering youth, please register a max of 7-10 youth, and please register each youth individually. It will help security at the event be more seamless.
