Since 2019, we've embarked on an incredible journey that has brought us to these momentous milestones. Over the past five years, more than 6500 women have participated in our flagship rides and 200 have obtained ride leader and advanced mountain bike certifications. We firmly believe that nurturing leadership on the bike translates to leadership in all facets of life—at home, at work, and within our communities.
The creation of Sunset Summit over the past two years has been a dream come true. However, we've made the decision to pause this event for 2024. This pause will afford us to enhance the experience for all women in the future.
At Women of OZ, our focus remains steadfast on our mission to empower women in Northwest Arkansas to embrace mountain biking by breaking down barriers. To live this mission, we are evolving to try new and different things. For 2024 we are planning a different fundraising event. We are thrilled at the prospect of engaging our community in this new endeavor as it presents a wonderful opportunity to continue our impactful work.
