Woven Threads Celebrating creativity, community and connection in Seedhill
Join RIG Arts in person for Evolve: Woven Threads, a free, child-friendly community arts event Celebrating the achievements of the Evolve Project in Seedhill, Paisley.
Evolve was an ambitious creative regeneration programme led by RIG Arts in partnership with local groups, delivered through the Culture Collective and funded by Creative Scotland, Big Lottery and Renfrewshire Council.
Evolve has worked with residents and artists to inspire community potential, create a stronger sense of place, celebrate local identity and renew pride in the Seedhill area using workshops, artist residencies, public art and community events to bring people together. Since 2021, RIG Arts operated a community arts space on Kilnside Road and delivered over 20 artist-in-residence projects, workshops and collaborative activities celebrating Seedhill’s heritage and creativity.
After over 3 years of community engagement, it's now time to come together and celebrate the weaving of creative community threads with an evening of creative fun.
