Romanian Plone community event, part of the worldwide 24-hour annual event promoting Plone and the global Plone community.

The World Plone Day (WPD) is a worldwide 24-hour event, sponsored by Plone Foundation, with the goal to promote and educate the worldwide about Plone benefits.
Plone is a powerful content management system built on a rock-solid application stack written using the Python programming language. Volto is a React-based frontend for content management systems, supporting Plone or Guillotina backend implementation.
It allows you to build anything from simple websites to enterprise-grade intranets.
Volto exposes features such as customisable content types and communicates with Plone via its mature REST API. It can be easily themed and is highly customisable.

The community built an enormous set of Plone and Volto addons available under:
https://github.com/collective/awesome-volto and https://github.com/collective/ .

Eau de Web is a Plone Foundation member, Plone Core and Plone Collective contributor. This year on April 27th, Eau de Web is inviting everyone interested in learning about Plone/Volto, members of the Python and React communities to join us for an hour of sharing our projects and accomplishments since last year’s World Plone day.
