Welcome to the World Bank Youth Innovation Challenge: Water Solutions for a New Climate Reality

You have requested to register for the World Bank Youth Innovation Challenge, and have been directed from the website: https://connect.newibnet.org/dashboard/youth-water-innovation-challenge

It is important that you review the official rules, eligibility criteria, the eligible countries, the judging criteria and the timeline before proceeding. You will be asked to verify that you and your team are eligible to participate below as per the following criteria:

  • All team members must be between 18-35 years.
  • In keeping with the World Bank’s mission in the developing world, preference will be given to individuals and teams from low- and middle-income countries, listed here. Please note that the team leader must be a citizen of a low- or middle-income country, listed in the link above.
  • Teams must be operating in/or aiming to address a problem found in low- and middle-income countries.

You will also be asked to verify that you understand that under the World Bank's Data Privacy Policy, by submitting this form you give the Bank the right to retain limited private information about you. This information will not be used outside the bounds of this competition unless you are short-listd when you will be advised further.

The Process

Once you submit this form (accessed using the "Reserve a Spot" button on the right) , you will receive an email from a World Bank Team Member(within a few days) with a link to an online form to allow you to upload your submission (by end February 23rd, 2024 by 12:00 EST). You will be asked to provide more information about your submission and your team (names, ages, email address).

You may be contacted by event organizers during the assessment phase. You will be advised if you have been shortlisted (or otherwise).
