    About United We Heal Programs:

Qualified Mental Health Associate Apprenticeship: Behavioral health workers who don’t have a Bachelor’s Degree, and want to pursue QMHA certification, now have a new path to pursue their goals! The QMHA Apprenticeship helps individuals with sufficient behavioral health industry work experience achieve QMHA certification without a Bachelor’s Degree, or even a High School Degree - while continuing to work in behavioral health. Once certified, apprentices will advance in their position with their employer and receive wage increases. QMHAs provide behavioral health services including client interaction, individual and group skill training, treatment coordination, crisis interventions, documentation, and feedback for therapeutic treatments and plans.

Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor: CADCs provide addiction counseling services including assessment, individual and group counseling, case management, referral, crisis interventions, documentation, and treatment planning. Individuals pursuing addiction counseling certification now have a new pathway to pursue these goals. The CADC apprenticeship helps individuals obtain paid on-the-job training in a behavioral health setting that counts toward the supervised hours for credentialing with MHACBO, the state certification board. Apprentices who earn their CADC certification will have the opportunity to advance in their careers, increase their earning potential, and increase their skills, knowledge, and competence working with individuals with substance use disorders.

Medical Assistant: Medical assistants are essential care workers who perform medical and clinical procedures as well as offer administrative support to medical offices. The MA apprenticeship program provides the opportunity to turn a GED or high school diploma into a certification to work in medical care. Apprentices who earn their certification will have the opportunity to advance their careers, increase their skills and earning potential. Requirements for the program are that the applicant be at least 18 years of age and have either a GED or high school diploma.
