Join us on July 13th at 5:00 PM as we host Ms. Desai, CEO - NIN Ventures,for a startup and fundraising workshop. There will be free pizza &amp; soft drinks! All Entrepreneurs invited!
Learn first hand from Ms. Desai and get tips on how to start a company?, how to fund raise?, and what some of the qualities are that VCs look for in a company and an entrepreneur? To be followed by a Q&A session. Have your questions ready for Ms. Desai!  
Ms. Desai heads a crowdfunded technology venture capital firm based out of down town Chicago. NIN Ventures (or <A HREF="http://nin.vc/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">NIN.VC</A>) invests in Series A and B rounds of 3D printing, the 4th industrial revolution, cloud computing, virtual reality, financial services, education software, and other disruptive technology companies. The fund typically writes checks anywhere between $1-$5 million. <A HREF="http://nin.vc/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">NIN.VC</A> has been featured in VentureBeat, Chicago Tribune, Forbes, Inc., WGN's After Hours with Rick Kogan, NBC Weekend Web with Charlie Wojciechowski, and Bloomberg's Taking Stock to name a few. Ms. Desai has been awarded 2015 CEO Of The Year – Illinois, for innovation and contribution to the Venture Capital &amp; Private Equity industry by Aquisition International magazine and Private Equity Fund Manager to Watch for 2017 by Corporate America. Her experience spans all facets of mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance including public offerings and private placements from private equity to investment banking and investment management. She holds an B.B.A and M.B.A in Finance / International Business from Loyola University of Chicago. Ms. Desai Chairs the Harvard Business School Private Equity and Venture Capital Group of Chicago, and is a member of Women's Association of Venture and Equity (WAVE). She also sits on the Illinois Venture Capital Association (IVCA) Legislative/IVCA PAC Board and Events Committee. She enjoys golf and piloting light aircraft in her spare time.
