WORKSHOP: Throwing Basics (3 Part)

The Union for Contemporary Artis committed to strengthening the creative culture of the greater Omaha area by providing direct support to artists and increasing the visibility of contemporary art forms in our community.We are committed to uniting artists and the community to inspire positive social change in North Omaha. The organization was founded on the belief that the arts can be a vehicle for social justice and greater civic engagement; it is our belief that the arts can be used to connect our diverse community in innovative and meaningful ways.

The Union for Contemporary Art

NOTE: This is a three part workshop. You must be able to attend both parts of the workshop. 
During this workshop participants will learn how to throw on the pottery wheel. 
Part 1: Thursday, February 6, 6:30-8:30PM
Part 2: Thursday, February 13, 6:30-8:30PM
Part 3: Thursday, February 20, 6:30-8:30PM
Instructor: Andy Smith
Non-members: $45 (plus $10 supply fee)
Free for U-CA Co-Op Members (must purchase clay through the Union separately)
