Founded in April 2016, Migration Collective is a group of dynamic and creative women based in London, each holding academic interest in and personal experiences of migration. Our unique projects, events and activities tackle the intersection of art, academia and action in order to challenge the mainstream rhetoric on migration.London Migration Film Festival has become a yearly event in London. Itsgoal is to portray the diversity, nuance and subjective experience within migration - including and beyond the refugee experience - in order to restore the dignity and humanity inherent within it.

Upstairs at the Ritzy

Through the Foreign City is a multi-disciplinary workshop exploring how moving from one space to another can challenge or nurture us. We will use theatre exercises as well as life drawing to reflect on how emotions are expressed, remembered and communicated when stepping into a foreign city. Together, we will explore our sense of agency and our ability to bring about social change. This activity is open to any person aged 13+ and we will provide childcare for families with younger children. Workshop run in collaboration with WassleArts, Babylon Project and Shahre Farang Stories.*Disclaimer: There is a limited number £1 tickets, which meant for those who could otherwise not afford to attend.About London Migration Film FestivalLondon Migration Film Festival is an annual film festival that has been running since 2016. The aim of the festival is to challenge the narrow rhetoric on migration that often sees migration, and people on the move, framed in reductive and dehumanising binaries.
