About this event

  • 2 hours

What do improvisers do to create place when there's only two chairs and nothing more? Object work, of course. Without object work, improv is like a toilet without a seat -- ewww. It's still technically a toilet, but not one that most people want to use. Object work is actually an essential part of improv, and, it's usually the thing that gets the least time and attention. Many improvisers turn into a number 11 in scenes -- two talking heads. In this playshop, we'll play with real live objects to see how we can integrate them into scenework when they aren't really there. And, we'll explore scene painting which goes hand in hand with object work.

Let's "feel" the fun!
