Documentary filmmaking is having a resurgence and it’s now more accessible to a larger populous with the advent of technologies that make getting a film completed a doable goal. It's a far less expensive venture than ever.

There are fundamental need to know procedures, production tips, storytelling clarity, legalities, distribution understandings and so much more involved in the process of producing an effective and gripping documentary.

This ninety minute seminar-workshop ‘Getting Your Documentary made, Broadcasted, and Distributed’ reveals the many facets needed for either a neophyte or experienced documentary filmmaker. This seminar-workshop is also great for lovers of documentary filmmaking that simply want to understand more about the genre.

Film clips that will be shown were produced by Emmy nominated filmmaker Steven Taub and the process is dissected in a joyful and straight forward manner. It’s purposely and always a very interactive conversation.
