Workshop: Butterfly Wing Jars

Come join us for a fun and creative workshop at Third Space Collective where you'll learn how to make your very own butterfly wing jars! Let your imagination soar as you design and create your unique masterpiece to take home. No experience necessary, just bring your enthusiasm and we'll provide all the materials AND SNACKS you need.
Who are you supporting?
This workshop is organized by Viridian (they/them) to help them fundraise for top surgery. Viridian is a nonbinary Latine artist and maker living in Savannah. Viridian launched into the vending/market scene in October of 2023 after their top surgery was cancelled 20 days before their surgery date. Their insurnace denied coverage last minute, and left Viridian with medical bills they had to pay out-of-pocket. They were given a quote of $7,000, but after fundraising for months, their quote could no longer be honored. Luckily, Viridian was able to find a different surgeon and are able to cover the surgeon fees completely; however, they have until June 17th to raise an additional $3,000 to cover the cost of anesthesia and facility fees. 100% of the ticket sales go towards covering the cost of anesthesia and facility fees for Viridian's top surgery later in June!
