Workshop: Break the Rules
We've been told don't fight, don't teach, don't do a transaction in an improv scene - but how can we make these scenes feel successful?
Workshop Description: We're often told to avoid doing certain kinds of scenes - Don't fight, don't do a teaching scene, don't do a transaction scene - the list goes on. Well, in this workshop we're going to do all of those scenes and then some! Come explore how you can do any type of scene and make it successful.
Workshop Length: 2 hours
What Should I Bring? Wear comfy clothes and closed-toe shoes fit for movement. Please bring a notebook and pen/pencil. Bring a full water bottle.
Please read our Lab FAQ & Policies and Covid Policies before signing up for a class or workshop.
About the Instructor: Michael Lutton has been an instructor at the Magnet Theater in NYC since 2011. He is the current Artistic Director and is the Director of the Musical Improv Program.
