Workshop Basics Class

Workshop Basics Class

Overview

Learn safe use of workshop tools as you turn raw lumber into a finished cutting board you design in this 3-hour class.

In this 3 hour class, we will walk you through all of the tools in the workshop as we move from Raw Lumber to a fully finished single piece Cutting Board of your own design! We provide the materials, you get to take it home.

The main project in this course can be completed by most within 2 hours time. This leaves plenty of time for additional instruction on all machines as required, as well as to detail & finish your project.

You will receive training on the safe usage of the following tools: band saw, miter saw, jointer, planer, table saw, router table, and drill press. You will have ample time to try out each tool.

You need to be 18 years old, or 15-18 with a legal guardian to participate in this course.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the course to get checked in.
